Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Call for opens: - Bob Ross said we had a new TSCHK Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the March 10 meeting were reviewed. Lance Wang moved to accept. Randy Wolff seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. ARs: - Randy Wolff to submit [Add Submodel] clarification BIRD203. - Done - Mike LaBonte to update BUG210 error message edits based on Mar 10 feedback - Mike produced a document with messages grouped for easy analysis. IBISCHK7 source code license: Bob Ross reported no change from the last meeting. Better IBISCHK error messages for BUG210: Mike LaBonte showed a document with the existing IBISCHK "orphan" error messages grouped into categories for easy analysis: 1) Recognizable keyword lines, but the correct type of top level keyword is not currently in play. 2) Not a keyword line, and the correct type of top level keyword is not currently in play. 3) Data line, but the previous keyword does not accept any data lines. 4) Like group 2 above, but the data line type is recognized. 5) Pulse_time with no D_overshoot_time, or vice versa. 6) [End *] keywords not paired up with [*] Bob Ross noted that we don't actually have a file header keyword as stated in group 1. Randy Wolff noted that the CMPNTEMI message wording was different from the others. Mike said he was not sure the group 2 messages would ever be issued, because it appeared from code inspection that the checks were made at places where some known keyword had already been identified. We looked at BUG210 and noticed that the error messages found there did not have their numbers. Bob tested the bug testcase to get the error numbers generated, which were E0501 and E0502. E0502 was in group 2, so Mike's theory had been dis-proven. Mike felt that the message in group 5 should be an error, not a warning. Randy agreed that all of the orphan items should be errors. Randy noted that list 2 followed list 1 except for an additional TESTLOAD check. Mike said he may have mis-categorized that item. We agreed that messages should end in periods. Bob noted that one description field had "orphan" in it, suggesting that that should be fixed too. Mike said he would clean that up. For #6 Mike noted there were only two such errors, and the other 11 [End *] keywords had messages not using "orphan". Randy noted that "EMI" was inconsistently capitalized across those, appearing as "Emi" in places. We decided not to go to great lengths to fix all of those. AR: Mike LaBonte to continue editing IBISCHK "orphan" messages TSCHK2 license agreement: Mike LaBonte showed the new TSCHK2 source code license agreement draft produced by Bob Ross. Bob said the price was still $1,000. He had made changes following the changes made to the SAE ITC template to produce the IBISCHK7 agreement. Mike said the word "Touchstone" appeared only in Exhibit A, it was "TSCHK2" everywhere else. We changed some IBIS-related terminology in section 1e to use Touchstone and TSCHK. Lance Wang asked how many TSCHK2 licenses had been sold. Bob said there were 6, one of which was free of charge, considered payment to the developer. Lance suggested we might bundle all parsers together into a single package, especially considering our plans to develop future parsers for ISS and EMD.. Bob said that might be possible, but we might have to give source code to current licensees. Lance said this could apply if when we update the software. AR: Bob Ross to review the updated TSCHK2 license document and send to SAE ITC for review New IBISCHK bugs: No new bugs. IBIS-ISS parser: No discussion. Lance Wang moved to adjourn. Bob Ross seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:10 ET Next meeting March 24, 2020
